If anything, but the following was a job lead posted on Voice123:
Quote: | I need a low but powerful voice saying a couple of words to mix into our music. It can be a computerized voice or a strong bass tone male voice in english and hopefully at a reasonable price. I have searched for software to do this but haven't quite found what i am looking for. Hope you can help. |

They need VoiceTalk LE -- I think VoiceTalk Pro would be too expensive. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Or Voice Talk Free - but that has proven to have quite a few glitches depending on your operating system |

There's always the older version, VoiceTalk ME, where the user interfaces with a microphone plugged directly into the PC. Not as advanced but it works. _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.

You might recall the prototype "Mr. Voice Talker". It was unfortunate that research had shown the pressing of both the Record and Playback buttons at the same time was too difficult for the core demographic. |

Right. Only works with Win98 or OS9. _________________ Be well,

Years ago, I did the vo's for a company that conducted focus group studies for print ads geared toward physicians. I would read the ad copy as straight and unemotional as possible and the doctors would rate on a meter whether the statement was believable or not.
Then one day at the end of a long session, the tech asked me to read the phonetic alphabet for him. I did......and I haven't been asked to do anymore scripts since. Yet a year or so ago, a doctor I know in another city recognized my voice as one he heard at a focus group study not long ago.
(can you say "Weather Channel--Now for your local forecast?")
Once, at the end of a commercial session, the owner of the studio asked me to do some "heavy" words and phrases for the local pro soccer team. They jimmy-jammed them into music and it was a hit at the stadium for many years.
I got paid for a few extra minutes' studio time and a free soccer ticket.

If I only had a nickel for every time I heard "Hey good lookin'! I'll be back for you later!" shouted from a passing car...

That client at V123 is looking for a watermark. It appears that all they want you to say is "Avalanche & avalanche all stars". _________________ "Bailey"
