VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Two sentences, that was it. Session late last night with Rosie in LA somewhere or other. 600 hundred bits of direction, producers notes, background information which I dutifully ignored, it's a gift.

I read both sentences twice.

"I love how quick you are. Thank you!" she says enthusiatically.

Silence

"Philip?"

Silence

PHILIP!"

Silence

"Oh no! I mean ...God ..no!" starts giggling .. "PHILIP!"

Silence

Giggles go to laughing with obligatory snorts

Silence

In LA all control systems have failed so I hear snorts, gasps, tears and desk being thumped.

"I hate you ...I HATE YOU... I .....(SNORT)......HATE ...(Sound like someone trying to kick start a Sea Lion) ....YOU...(SNIFF AND BLOW OF NOSE)

"Enjoy the rest of your day young lady" I say coldly.

Her dying words to me were ....."A**HOLE!"

She then had to explain to her colleagues what I said to reduce her to hysterics. As far as I recall it was nothing.

I've often wondered what that would be like---I mean, it could happen, right?

"Can we get another take?" Uh, no ma'm, because I've done gone and croaked.

You'd like to think they'd try to figure out who to call..particularly a challenge, I'd imagine, in Portgordon, since I'm fairly sure dialing 911 in LA wouldn't bring the necessary help to the door.

Seriously though, this is fodder for discussion, I'd say. What if one of us weren't even necessarily dying. but got really sick during a session. Could we find a way to get the necessary help during a remote session? I mean there's a roomful of people there who would help if they could. But could they?

Never thought about it like that and of course you're quite right. If I croaked they could just get someone to drop by and seal the door.
