I got this email today:
Quote: | Hello Tom,
For the most part we are convinced you'd be a good addition to the roster. However, all talent must have the ability to phone patch. That is, as simple as getting a good quality speaker phone at the least in the voice booth with you, so that you can hear direction while recording. Although most of the jobs we assign do not require patching in from the client, some do and all of our talent must have that ability.
Please do contact us with this string when you can phone patch.
Thank you, |
Who out there has a phone patch? Any recommendations? _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

Some folks use a speaker phone, some folks use a cordless-phone earpiece under their studio headset, some folks have a full-on phone-patch interface.
Most of the time these days I use a good-quality earpiece that hooks onto my cordless phone. I put my headset over that, so I can hear me, they can hear me, and I can hear them. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |
