They're both absolutely right on. Physicality is such an important part of the role, of being "in the moment". I had a piece I did several years ago where my character was bolted inside a small spacecraft escape module. She was squirming around trying to look out the porthole to see where she was in space, at the same time working the controls of her little escape pod.
I have a window next to my desk, so I did those lines at my desk, trying to look out my window and taking it for granted that all I had was the few square feet in front of my desk. It worked out perfectly. Even if it did indicate to my cats that I'm stark raving mad. _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |
