Hey, guys. I've used rate cards found via blogs and other voice over resources, but as a non-union voice talent, I need to set my rates to standard; and would like to hear any advice you all may have by using a current request for my rates for a particular project.
What would you suggest I charge for the following gig?
""Hi Daniel,
We have a project coming in that’ll be UN-Style Voice-Over for a Cable Broadcast Reality TV Show.
8-episode series, 1-hr episodes
Full US cable broadcast, plus all attendant media
Streaming and DVD/BRD releases
Non-union
Series regulars would speak Spanish, and your voice would be heard UN-Style over theirs. 1 talent per main character, plus some minor characters.
Recordings estimated:
1. Rough cut of pilot
2. Final pilot
3. Episodes 2-8 – will do them together, but may require several sessions.
What would your hourly rates be for this work? Could you please send me ASAP your hourly rate & minimum per session, and one-time buy-out fee?""
Thanks to you all for all that you do!
