To sucessizize you need MORE people. All the best people have them, all the heavy hitters.

"Heavy hitters" with a top management company? I can't imagine any heavy hitter needing a management company. There is enough in the way of us doing business so what we need is people who move it out of the way.

Most VO people are in awe of agents, managers, casting directors, "top talent" and producers because they are motivated by fear - Note, FEAR not respect. In the case of the latter the respect needs to be justified and mutual.

A few years ago in a fit of rage someone said that they would destroy my career; fear gripped me like ice on a boiling kettle! I was disappointed at the behaviour but was not worried, not fearful. I asked myself how they would do that? Awkward question. I sometimes ask them of other people but ask them of myself frequently. Reply came there none so I got on with my life.

The above is a negative so let's try a positive. How much do you pay (A) and how much do they either earn you or save you? If the payment to them is measurable in monetary terms then the result MUST be similarly measurable. No excuses. Show me (yourself) da money!

"Who are you and what EXACTLY do you do?" you ask

Here's the trick. Listen to the answer. More often than not it is an answer but not to the question you asked. Walk away!
