I arrive in NYC (Newark) Flt VS0001 Friday 27th Feb 1245
depart NYC (JFK) Flt VS0004Sunday 1st Mar 1830

Thanks to Melissa I have lodgings in the financial district of NYC.

I have no plans but know that folks will be around.

Let the co-ordinations begin their commencement.

We need to eat, drink and may be do stuff.

If there is a Comedy Club with an "open mic" I'd quite like to try that.

I'm sorry that I won't be able to make it there to see you Frown. Have a safe and wonderful trip! Smile

In order to qualify anyone from Pennsylvania would have to enter their ZIP into the security system as the blanket ban remains in force. The system automatically permits registration for parties hailing from Pittsburgh.

So far. it's dinner for 3. Me, Bob and Cinda.

Guam can't make as they have family visiting.
I asked Syria why not and they sent a text "DON'T ASK!"
The Ukraine said that things are quiet now so they may just have a window

Philip,

I realize that things are often spelled differently in the UK than they are here, but Pittsburgh has an "h" at the end that seems to be missing in your recent missive. Cinda and I are very much looking forward to seeing you again in just a few more sleeps. I am confident others will join in the festivities.

Bob, it's not kind to point out Philip's deficiency in spelling skills.

Poor sod can't even spell his own name. Wink

If he wasn't a certified voiceoverist, I shudder to think how he'd get by. Rolls Eyes

Is what?

I'm there all weekend and can eat at least 9 times, drink many more times and be funny most of the time.

We need to re-visit the Jewish Deli and do the "just bring a bit of everything" menu.

I have a fun birthday weekend away, don't nobody go ****ing it up by organising a bunch o'sh*te!

"We're just going to enjoy ourselves!"

"Mmmmmmmmm lemme see the agenda"

Arrive 1245 27th - Start having fun
Continue until 1830 1st March

Too much detail?

Ok ok... I meant which night were Bob and Cinda thinking about.

A bunch of FOP's (friends of Philip) are in for Friday night. I'm making an executive decision. Friday night we'll do downtown.

Melissa,

Cinda and I will be arriving in Manhattan around 3:00 PM on Friday the 27th and have no plans except to see Philip and anyone else at whatever restaurant, deli, bar or dive that is chosen and then eventually get to sleep in our midtown room (at 57th and 6th).

I will be attending Johnny Heller's audiobook workshop (also in midtown on 55th, 2 and a half blocks from where we are staying) from 10a to 6p on Saturday, but Cinda has the whole day free. We both then have the evening on Saturday on through early afternoon on Sunday before we have to head back to Pittsburgh.

This is my penalty for not keeping closer tabs on this board.

But at least I got some quality phone time with PB this week and I was thankful for that.

Enjoy, all!

You still have time to get to the Big Apple for the Saturday portion of the festivities.
