I found this supercut of action movie trailers quite interesting...

Everyone knows there are predictable tropes and certain arcs to trailers, and that there ain't nuthin' new under the sun. But it's still pretty shocking to see how utterly identical action trailers have become when viewed back-to-back like this. Down to the finest detail, really.

And of particular interest to the voiceoveristes among us is the fact that in the entire 8-and-a-half-minute long supercut there is NOT ONE SINGLE voice of God narrator. Not one. I guess those days are well and truly gone.
