Remember the "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" business? You could find your "Bacon Number" by calculating how many steps away you were from having worked with Kevin Bacon. My Bacon number has been a 2 because I've worked with a few people who have worked with him (and are considered to have a Bacon Number of 1), like Ted Danson, Josh Brolin, and Cuba Gooding, Jr..

Now the question is do I qualify to having a Bacon Number of 1? I narrated this video featuring an animated Kevin Bacon puppet:

He was 3,000 miles away in Florida at the time, so maybe I'm up to a 1.5? Wink

If that project gets listed on imdb, you should get to a Bacon number of 1, but according to the Oracle of Bacon, it is still 2.

Killjoy. Hey, it's only been public for a couple of days. Certainly IMDB will list a non-profit's web video someday? Or not. Sigh.

I'm still at a Bacon number of 3.

Along with 1,257,574 other lucky souls.

If I had a Bacon number, it would be 3, but I need to get listed on imdb first. There are four Lee Gordons listed, but I am not any of them. By contrast, there are two chaps named Bruce Miles and our own is "Bruce Miles (1)."

I'm generally good at 4 slices, myself.... Unless there's lettuce and tomato involved.

Well, the theory is that no one is more than six degrees (people) away from knowing or working with Kevin Bacon, or from knowing anyone in the world for that matter.

Bob, you used to work directly with Billy Graham so you're clearly just a degree away from all kinds of famous and interesting folks, and probably met quite a few yourself along the way.

Bruce,

True, but according to the Oracle of Bacon, my Bacon number is infinity. So, there's that.
