No results come up from searching here to see if anybody's mentioned this specific piece of software, so: ran across a Sound Forge knockoff that's pretty nice. If you don't really like Audacity, are used to SF but need a freebie or if you simply like trying different editors:

Supports VST plugins and has some nifty features. If Wavosaur has already been mentioned in another post and I simply missed it, please don't hurt me. _________________ Finally, Ford stops starting to say things and starts. |

Very nice. While it's a bit quirky (doesn't appear to be any way to record a mono file for example) it does seem like it will do the trick for my back-up computer. _________________ Be well,
