They would probably be in the same ballpark. Both are cheaper monitors for a cheaper price. It really depends on what you want to use them for. If you just want a pair of speakers that sound better and more detailed than your computer speakers, the Rokits (RP5s are limited edition colored Rokit 5 G3s) are great at under $200 for the set, but if you want accurate and un-hyped speakers that will help you hear mixes well, neither is going to knock your socks off (according to what I've read about both over time).

Personally, I'm waiting on Equator to check out the redesigned D5s when they come out. Lots of great press around those monitors but the first generation apparently had some issues that they are addressing.

Personal experience and thus my opinion..... rather boomy on the bottom and soft through tweeters in my well treated room. I gave them tax free to my son as he liked the yellow woofers and the 'thump' factor thats there for such a small footprint. I'm sure Musicians Friend sells a ton of 'em to folks thinking they are getting real 'monitors'.
