Can anyone recommend a good e-learning demo coach? One of my students is looking for one. Feel free to PM me. Thanks! _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!

+2 for both of the +1's above. Don't know Tim but no one I know named Tim is a bounder and a cad.
I seriously question the need for (a) an elearning coach (b) a custom made elearning demo or (C ) specially calibrating running shoes. BUT. If a person really believes they need such things in their lives to enable them to do elearning stuff or be speedy quicker in fabby shoes then they should fill their lives to the brim with them like a brimmy fully thing.

Assuming this person has all the required VO skills (e.g. reading aloud with at least 73.5% accuracy, and clearly enough so they don't usually need subtitles)... then here's my free learning coaching:
Ask the client one simple question. Do you want me to be...
a) talking to the audience from the front of the class ... or
b) talking to them at the water-cooler after the class?
Too many sub-genres
Too many labels
Too many demos
Too many people telling VOs that they need specific vertical-market demos, selling them the coaching and producing the demos. An elearning demo needs no production, just cut together some stuff you've read (real or fake) and put it out there. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

as someone who casts a lot of eLearning, i agree with peter. there are really just two kinds. (saying the same thing a bit differently) talking WITH you and talking AT you. you can mix up your delivery based on audition specs --- a little "younger" sounding - a little more "mature", etc ... i know within 2 seconds if i want to listen further and within 7 seconds if you're the guy for the job. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

I agree, Peter and Todd. I have an e-learning demo but it has never gotten me work and about 50% of my VO revenue comes from e-learning/industrials. But if that's what he wants, I'll help him get it. _________________ Tom Dheere - The "H" is Silent, but I'm Not!
