VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

I had my first non-audiobook job on a book trailer for Harper teen, and when I showed it to my 7th grade daughter, her first words were "(shriek) I'm gonna be popular!" which seemed odd, but when questioned, she explained that she can show her friends the trailer and they will think her mom is cool because she's famous. Now, I am well aware that I am on the bottom rung of the voice over world. But for that brief moment, I reveled in the adulation of my first "fan." And then I told her to clean her room, and got an eye roll, which put me back in my place... Rolls Eyes

"Puh! It's just Mum (or Dad)!" Is not likely to make your heart soar so coolness is everything.

I have no children but ...

Coolness with teenagers - Voice of the horror channel
Coolness with young adults - Voice of video game they play
Coolness with very young children - Have puppets who sing and make them laugh
Coolness with Female Voiceoverists - Nope, I got nothing.
Coolness with Male Voiceoverists - Well they ALL hate me, every single one! I've no idea why that makes them cool in my eyes but it does.
