277 users have posted 50 or more times (18.7%)
211 users have posted 100 or more times (14.2%)

109 users with personal websites, have never posted. (7.3%)

As the numbers drift and tumble through my cluttered mind, I began to wonder how much capital could be generated here, if VO-BB memberships were set at just 10% of the average P2P membership. I'll let you do your own math... but that is one HUGE load of chocolate!

This is the only place where I get to be "The 1%."

Wow that is telling. I can't believe I'm near the 14% with 91 posts already.
I'm still very much a newbie though.

So it makes me wonder, how come nobody posts that much? Are people shy? Do they feel like they shouldn't post for some reason? Are they just not that interested after hanging around for a while?

It definitely seems that the same people post most of the time. I guess that includes me at this point, right or wrong.

You bring up a great point. Let's play "find the tip jar" and see what happens!

Thanks for these stats; I love seeing them.

Ok, I did it. I think to join voices.organised.crime.com is $299 so I've sent my membership fee to the Memsahib. Everyone else could do that or $25 per month.

Public, practical display of support.

Anyone else going to pin their flag to the mast?

A whole lot of people sign up and do nothing at all.

I occasionally purge the non-active "members". That's probably why we don't have 10,000 "members".

And I am going to move the Tip Jar— it doesn't show up for folks who prefer the non-comic vphpBB2 interface.

That's a great idea Deebs... That "Comic" skin actually bruises my eyeballs Smile

You should look into https://www.patreon.com which sets up a system for small recurring payments. If a whole bunch of active users threw a couple of bucks a month into the tip jar, it would soon add up and help with (hopefully completely cover) your costs.

If you really want to know...

Several years back, we had a member who was very opinionated and argumentative. I can't remember what the topic was, but comments this person made were very negative and volatile. Our Board Czar tried to diffuse the situation but to no avail. It was at that point that our Board Czar sent this person to hell, and peace was restored. People have many reasons for not posting... this could be one of them.

That's a shame. It seems fairly cordial now!
