After 20 years of non- and professional experience with analog audio recording and production, my first venture into digital audio came on this date (December 15) in 1987 when I bought my first computer. My new Apple Macintosh SE had a 20 MB hard drive, 2 MB of RAM and, yes, audio capability was built-in. I never looked back (well, OK, I do sometimes to remember my roots) and have been a proud Macintosh user ever since.
