Hello Everybody,

Just wanted to let you know about a recent find I had. Bandcamp.com It's an alternative to Sound Cloud, as a music upload service. I was looking for something that had a better designed player, and this fit the bill. It's still totally free and you can upload a ton of files.

Here's the clincher. You can upload full quality .wav files. In fact they make you! They won't even let you upload an .mp3!

I know a lot of people use the Voice-zam player, but if you don't/can't host media on your domain, this might be a great option.

I have a few friends that have released albums on Bandcamp. I haven't checked it out personally. I do know that Soundcloud is kind of fading away and fewer and fewer people are active on it.

That might only matter to musicians, however. Also, there are a lot of bots/spammers on Soundcloud these days -- not sure about Bandcamp.

I have no idea what kind of media player I have on my site -- but I can upload whatever I want and it'll stream it.

Something must be going on with SoundCloud. I keep getting these different emails from people I don't know telling me how much they enjoy my songs on SoundCloud, and how all my music will do better on their site. Of course I don't warble one note on any of my demos on SC, but the flattery is nice.
