I usually get "You ROCK!!!" from this client, but today...
Quote: | "Connie, you have the unique ability to take a day that has left me feeling like I’m stuck in a long dark tunnel and showing me there is light at the end of it." |
I think my favorite of all though is still...
Quote: | "Someday there will be a statue of you in our lobby...probably gold." |

not exactly a testimonial - but when i was in morning radio in springfield, il a line from one review read:
Quote: | ... flashes of brilliance amid hours of mediocrity. |
i rather liked that one. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

The first testimonial I received was in 1979, from a project manager for Western Electric, the manufacturing and supply unit for what was the Bell System:
Quote: | "You sound as though you were one of our own technicians!" |
But the best one thus far was the LinkedIn recommendation received in 2005 from a producer of corporate communications:
Quote: | "Mike Harrison’s work is first-class. He’s outright gifted and can handle an enormous range of directions, inflections and characterizations. I’ve twisted Mike around a wide variety of jobs from presenting business services for AT&T to selling floor tile with an authentic Hawaiian accent and he’s done them all brilliantly. Highly recommended!" |
It's nice to blow the dust off them every now and then. I am extremely grateful to have received them and lucky to have worked with such generous people. _________________ Mike

My favorite:
"I'd rather work with Doug than with the finest voice talent in the business."
(And yes, I use it on my website.) _________________ Doug Turkel (tur-KELL)

I shared this on facebook but it's worth repeating. My first 2 audiobook reviews.
First was a 4 star review on performance, no comments
Second started with "Paul Stefano killed the book for me". That was nice to read. _________________ http://www.paulstefano.com |

you could actually read that a couple of ways --- but it's good to stay positive! _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

Buried by the testimonials! Painful.
I once received a Headmaster's Commendation at age 13. Since then I have been forced to languish in obscurity.
Still, at least I scrub up well.
