You may want to reconsider paying full price for a manufacturer-branded replacement! Here's a tear-down video of a lithium battery pack that goes for £ 500 (about 700 USD) that contains about 30 bucks worth of actual batteries. Skip ahead to the 4:55 mark for the best part.

I've done quite a bit of battery work over the years and I've always been amazed what manufacturers can charge for something when they make it seem mysterious and proprietary. Deep down, it's all the same with different packaging 500 pounds is quite crazy for a $20 or so battery That's the kind of business I need to get into! |

my 528 LED video lights run on sony np-f950 batteries. there are good knock-offs & BAD knock-offs. since i've been on both sides - i'll share.
MaximalPower = good, heavy, long-lasting battery
halcyon & wasabi = crappy, light, 30% battery (i took one apart - there is LITERALLY 60% less battery in the same size case) _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

The advertised mAh of LiPo batteries are wildly falsified for sure... _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.
