Surely you have an extra extension cord around the house. Go to the hardware store and buy a little "in-line switch". (You can get one that will mount to the wall if you like.) Run the extension cord from your AC adapter port to the inline switch where you separate out the HOT wire, and then plug the Audient AC Adapter into the end of the extension cord.

If Audient put an on/off switch on their box, then the little wall-wart would be sipping a bit of your electrical power 24 hours a day.
