Hi everybody!!
I'm a seasoned voice actor when it comes to commercial and experienced new guy in audiobook, but never done a call center gig before!
I made a connection w/ a guy who works on hospital logistics and looks like I got a gig!! Thats the good news.
Now I have no idea what a price quote would look like, can you give me an estimate??
Thanks gang!

I do a lot of IVR/Telephony work
I generally charge a Session fee and a Per prompt rate.
They'll probably want you o provide separate audio files, so it's up to you if you want to charge a "splitting" fee for that.
If you are working on a PC I highly recommend getting Word2Wav or Read2Record to help you with that _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

Hi Lizden
Thanks so much!!
Given there is so much variable with regards to the size of the tree of prompts, what would you guesstimate a fair price would be for everything? Or, what range should I be looking at?
I know this is subjective and complex, but a ballpark number would be really helpful.
I'm 32 and have had a gradually improving home studio for one year, but have been in voiceover part time for seven years, my biggest job is the voice of Labatt Blue Beer which has been a yearly gig.
Thanks again

If the size of the project is variable your quote also needs to be that way. Per hour of studio time, per minute of finished recording, or a base fee plus an amount per prompt or line.
And do you do it all in one sitting or will you be getting it in bits and pieces, or will there be semi regular updates? Good to know before you lock in a quote.
