Several ?s pop up for me.
Are "clients" expected to only be radio stations? Can you pull your name if clients give you a failing grade?

Oh That is scary...
YOU send them your client list, then THEY rank you...????
Oh, my, heavens to Betsy... Sorry folks no-one gets my client list - not even the IRS or my ex-wife.
And what does this "ranking" do for an Imaging type person? Will you get more work from other stations who drop the 'other' guy/gal? Not likely.
Hey, I want it listed that I charge among the highest in the industry according to their "rate scale" of Five - being the highest to One - being the lowest... What gives here?
This is a treasures of trash issue - not worth keeping and not worth throwing away... Look several times before you sign on for this...
Sorry Jeff O'Neil, I saw that you were listed...
This is right up the alley for SCAM ARTISTS... Steal your "client list" and market to the client and leave you high and dry (This is my personal opinion, and my opinion only, this opinion does not reflect the views of anyone but myself...)
Toodles

By the looks of it, e-mails are sent to TV affiliates and radio stations(end users). The end user then lists the talent and rates them.
Frank - 1= highest rate, 5 = lowest rate. Better the deal, higher the score.
David - You would have to have at least 5 or 6 stations rate you before you would even show up on the chart. The scores are averaged. So, if one station fails you, it won't show up.
To me, this is entrepreneurship. They are already creating a buzz and getting ad dollars out of voice talent. They just sit back and watch the dollars roll in. Hats off to-em.
EDIT: I just asked myself how long will it be before TV and radio people see the e-mails as SPAM and just hit the delete button? What's in it for them? No industry news, no jobs, no...nothing. |

Indeed. Bad enough that they have to put up with mailings from schleps like me looking for imaging/promo work... _________________ Great Voice. Great Choice. For Voice Talking and stuff.
