I can imagine, and remember. I saw her in concert (that'll date me). Downed a whole bottle of Wild Turkey during the show and was spectacular to the last drop.

The Janis documentary on Netflix is amazing, and sad at times.

I did, as well. February 22, 1969 at Clark University in Worcester, Mass.
And, no, I don't have a photographic memory. In fact, I Googled "Janis Joplin" and "Clark University" to try to confirm that it wasn't an "enhanced" memory, and discovered that the official Janis Joplin website has an individual page for every live performance she ever did, where people can post pictures or recollections. (None posted on the page for the show I saw.)
I'll have to do some further research to determine if the Chambers Brothers were also on the bill for that show, or if it was a different show at Clark.

And what did you have to drink?
