VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Hello... My name is Michael and I'm just now really getting started in the voice over world. I've trained with Chuck McKibben for a while and he's got me to the point where I really want to dive in and try to find some work.

I've done some sound engineering over many years but nothing specific to voice over work until recently. So, I'm mostly really new and green at all of this.

I plan to scour the place here before I start asking a bunch of stuff that's already been answered but I'm sure I'll come up with questions that I hope all of you veterans will be able to answer as well.

Who knows? Maybe I'll be able to contribute soon myself.

If you wanted one thing to do every day to help you nurture your business there are enough ideas to keep you going for the first 20 years and then you're on your own.

Greetings, Michael. You'll find this group overly helpful and tired of llama poop. You've come to a great resource. FYI - while I've done public speaking since I was 5 I ended up going to school for audio engineering and one day realized I had the stuff to combine the two careers. It's been a pretty good run. Tech skills are pretty important if you are going to run a studio out of your house. Otherwise it all sounds like crap.
