I'm in Dallas this Thursday for an MCA-I meeting...staying through Friday night.
Thursday night is "Wine and Cheese with the 'Big Cheese'" (uh, that would be me - President this year of MCA- . It's at a place called Times Ten Cellars. Anyway, I'll be there saying hello to the local MCA-I members who can make it. It's open to non-members too. Not sure how much of a crowd will be there, the notices went out late. But I'll be there!

If you can't make that meeting, then maybe we could find a rendezvous point sometime on Friday before my board meeting/dinner with the DFW MCA-I Board? How about [edit] Cuba Libre Cafe? Someplace close to where our dinner is at 7PM at at Hector's on Henderson.
Anyone going to be around?

I have to attend a family funeral Thursday.
But Dallas is only about 5 hours from Beaumont/Port Arthur, if you'll be there a few days, I'd love to get together with you. Let me know how long you'll be there.

P.S.- I'll trade homes with you, you can stay here in Texas, and I'll go back to " God's country- San Diego." I have tried to get my wife to let us move back there for years( I LOVED living there), she simply says- " Make sure you send me a lot of postcards from out there !!!" Oh well, wishful thinking !
P.S.S.- I STILL think Roger Hedgecock should run for Re-election !!!! LOL |

I'll be leaving on Saturday.
Quick trip. Couple of meetings for MCA-I.
If you can make if for a casual gathering on Friday, that looks like the window of opportunity here.

So - no one is going to be around - huh? Well, try to make it to the meeting on Thursday if you can. I'll spend my Friday before the board dinner sightseeing!

I thought I noticed a bit of a rise in the <S> but I couldn't find a way to bring it up with out sounding like a creepy, "girl" focused leerer! Glad to know my eyes weren't deceiving me. Looks great Connie! Wish I could be in Dallas for a cocktail. Have fun.

Connie,
The next time you know you'll be in TX or LA, let us know ahead of time. We're 1 and 1/2 hrs from Houston- just at or less than, 5 hrs from Dallas/Austin/San Antonio- less than an hour from Lake Charles,LA- 2 hours from Laffayette,LA -4 hours from Baton Rouge,La- and only an extra hour at most from there to New Orleans( OAR -as they say " NAW LINS")
Let us know and look forward to getting together with you.
