Sorry to say that Peter Sallis, the voice of Wallace in the Wallace and Gromit claymation adventures has passed at the age of 96. He did so many interesting roles over the years, but his cheese loving knucklehead voice was a classic in my book.

sad. wallace & gromit was one of those things that my boys experienced together when they were very young. i have very personal memories of the series & it hurts my heart that he's gone.
i can still see a 7 year old running around the house yelling "MY TROUSERS, MY TROUSERS!" _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

I love Wallace & Gromit.
