Got a potential client looking for me to not only do voice but add a music bed too.
What's the typical rate with producing and voicing together?
It's for 6 separate spots that'll air on Pandora/Spotify in different markets.
Thanks,

I haven't produced a lot of spots lately, but when I did I usually charged a "needle drop" charge for use of the music ($35 to $50 per piece of music, once if for multiple spots) and then depending on the voice rate I was getting I'd charge $0 to $300 per hour for my production time. I've done a lot of complete production over the years so it's a breeze for me. If it's easy I say charge little and if it's time consuming get decent money for your time.
I'm not sure what production studios are charging these days ($150/ hour?).

$150/hr is what I charge and see a number of houses with the same rate. |
