Once you're familiar with their approach and the mechanics of the scam, you'll be able to spot it a mile away.

Wow...thanks Doug. After reading the initial contact from the scammer, I think I'd be able to see this coming. Grammar, spelling and punctuation are big red flags with me. Even though some clients do come from overseas, someone sending a check is total fraud. Thanks very much for the enlightening information! |
