VO-BB - 19 YEARS OLD!

Just wanted to say hello...didn't really have much to chat about really.

Lot of good things happening for me VO wise. Narrating a web series, signed with a killer agency in Atlas, and my very first audiobook. Not bad for a guy who this time last year wanted to sell his gear and go back to the corporate world.

How are you guys and gals doin?

last week i shot 3 hours of video for a mock work comp trial. i thought it was horrific while i was shooting it ... editing two cameras of this crap is killing my soul.

Lots (and I mean LOTS) of moving parts over here, life-wise... but I have no complaints.

Recently have had a couple VO jobs drop in my lap from out of the blue. That always makes me happy.

So glad to know the trajectory is up for you! Just the first step, my friend. Smile

I am actually trying to retire. Backed off on the marketing and am only doing auditions (turning down many of them due to low pay or simply no interest in the project) and working for repeat clients, plus their referrals and people who find me online. And I am busier than ever!

Got a call yesterday on my nearly unused business line (it has been relegated to robo-calls and I usually have the ringer off now, but it was turned on because of a phone patch session earlier in the day), with a very nice little project that we will record this afternoon. That's after a project for a repeat client this morning and a scripting consultation for another existing client.

It is getting difficult to balance Art classes, listening to my boyfriend play his keyboard and sax in a rock band, working out, theater stuff (waiting to hear if I have a call back for Steel Magnolias) and general playing with all this work...
