Not really here for a critique, but more to share.
I’ve done a lot of demos. They’re usually fast paced, tight, a lot of range and show as much versatility within that range as possible.
I recently did a demo for some PBS work using those parameters. I bounced it off a client that has become a friend, and one that does a lot of PBS work. He gave me direction that was completely counter to what I have been used to creating. Not only with construction, but with content even considering the political stance that most PBS stations maintain.
I like the end product, but it’s something I would have never created on my own without his direction, and with that, I thought I’d share.
It’s not tight and it edits out any content that may conflict with the PBS type of presentation. Keep in mind that this is only for documentary work to present to producers who work in the PBS arena.
This demo consists of projects I've completed with various producers.

i think it sounds awesome & will get you the kind of work you are looking for. that said, the cut @ :42 is "and luckily ..." "... the president is dead." it MIGHT be a distraction from the awesomeness that is rick. _________________ "i know philip banks": todd ellis

I was wondering if that would be a distraction. I've been told by a well connected agent that VO talent gets caught up in too much minutia that the potential client would never pay attention to. Regardless, I addressed it.

Perfection ruins almost everything. Only geometry is perfect and you are NOT a rhombus. |
