Most of the voice actors I encounter these days don’t put on “the voice”... maybe it’s the relaxed Oregon vibe. But many current and former radio people I have known can’t find the “off” switch. Back when I did VO consulting it was sometimes a battle to get former deejays and newscasters to find their soft, natural voice.

Over 175,000 complaints (estimate) have flooded in regarding the adjudication process for receiving the far from coveted OAV - Officially Accredited Voiceoverist badge/pin of Accreditation.
The initial criteria was designed to exclude me but I could not make that work as I have (a) done everything and (b) built a stone fire place.
Key is that we are going to be the Voice Over elite, second only in eliteness to people who regularly breakfast with the Dutch Royal family.
SO, there are now only two ways to get the grand badge (pin) of Voiceoverist accreditation.
(1) - VO income Total $1,500,000 (or local currency equivalent) over a maximum accumulation period of last 10 years (2008 - 2017) or less OR (2) at least 10 years in the business and another Officially Accredited Voiceoverist recommends the Artiste. Have a fabluss week!

As much as I would love to sport one of these medallions on my lapel, I have come to the conclusion that my life will be equally incomplete with or without one. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Included below SOME of the reasons one may not use to get a pin/badge/accreditation.
1 - You jus' want one.
2 - You jus' don't want one.
3 - You jus' know someone who wants one.
4 - You jus' know someone who doesn't want one
5 - You look as if (See 1,2,3 &4)
7 - There is no sith reason - The "So-called" Stars Wars" reason.
8 - You are me. See identity theft.
9 - You qualify because you know Graham who drives for Maynes of Buckie buses.
10 - You are only pretending that you know and have the phone of my unrequited love. See photo below.

Tre, do you really want a "certification" from a guy who advises people that "You won't work. Every day."???

Oooh... someone else is a "Death in Paradise" fan! We really like the show even though they "kill off" their lead detectives every so often. Joséphine Jobert is a rather smart looking detective, although some of our viewing audience here think her work outfits are a little too skimpy.
And this outfit got plenty of chortles.... a costumer having too much fun.

He wants to be able to charge enough so that on the free days a Border Collie will come in really handy. Beach not supplied, terms and conditions apply. |

OK, that was good. I like the way you stayed in character. Let's try it again, but this time let's honor the punctuation and maybe put a little more Eric Idle into it. And let's see how that sounds... _________________ www.TonerVoice.com |
