In recent weeks I have:
Quit my unsatisfying radio gig and returned to the VO life.
Voiced and re-voiced many varieties of scripts for my demos. I've received some good feedback from trusted acquaintances that my commercial demo is coming along nicely. I look forward to having a demo professionally made within the next year. In the interim, I'll be working with self-produced demos. I am happy to send the link to someone if they would like to give me critique. I'm not quite ready to post it "publicly" yet because I'm a big wuss sometimes.  There is one spot I plan to switch out so I'll be more forthcoming when I've done that.
Registered for Voxy Summit. I'm very excited to learn from the presenters at my first conference! Anxious to make some new pals. Also, there is karaoke.
Made some great contacts on a local/regional level in the midst of departing from radio and embarking on self-employment.
Saving money. I'm doing it! It feels good. I need to choose a coach to work with asap. This is a very difficult decision. There are several people I would just love to work with.
