So I just got my 4th or 5th audition so far this year with a reference video featuring newscaster Paul Harvey's "And So God Made a Farmer" story. Uhh, he's been gone ten years now and while I loved his reading style... now?
One of my thrills in the radio biz was watching him deliver one of his newscasts. He used to read from the AM/FM studios I worked at before he built his own house with studio in Phoenix, and I got up at 2 in the morning to watch him prep and perform. It was fun to watch him creep up on the mic to deliver his slightly delayed sign off, "Good Day!"

I always figured he was doing that to dramatically fill however-many-seconds it took to make the line hit on the time mark... ? _________________ SoundscenesDC, main talent and production offices just 385k km up the gravity well in LuNoHoCo Center, old satellite studios still bookable at the future site of Johnson City! |

There's even a five year time delay on being unoriginal. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.
