Townsend Labs was kind enough to send me a Sphere so that I can review it on my upcoming YouTube channel ('Sound and Receive').
I've been using it with the regular mics that came with the initial offering but they've updated it to include quite a few new microphones.
Which includes (cue the drum roll)....The Sennheiser 416!
I will definitely shoot it out with my actual 416 here soon and post back with audio but wanted everyone to be aware of the update.

Let me know here if you have a Sphere and what you think. _________________ www.moosevoice.com |

I am very intrigued to hear the results of this. I hadn't heard of the Sphere but followed the rabbit hole and found about it playing nice with the UAD gear. My studio interface is an Apollo x6 so I'd be pretty interested to see what sounds can be achieved... _________________ www.mattcowlrick.com |

I’m hoping you can tell us something about the Sphere...what you’ve learned, your impressions, how the 416 emulation seems to you, etc. I’ve talked to a few who’ve been blown away so I’m curious to know if your opinion is different.
Thanks! |
