For those who know her let’s have some warm thoughts for Natalie Stanfield as she goes through a major surgery and recovery starting today. I’m sure she’ll be fine but a little extra help from the community never hurts.

In solidarity with Natalie and to help her feel better, there are folks posting pictures of themselves wearing silly things like Mardi Gras beads.
I asked my cat, The Little Shit, if she'd participate.
She tried to eat the beads.
I'm not sure if that's a "yes" or a "no."
We wish Natalie a speedy recovery, and all the beads that don't get eaten.
I'd post a pic of The Little Shit if I could figure out how to do it on this forum. _________________ * * * * * * * * * *

FYI, as of an hour ago, this is the update from Natalie's son:
"Mom is still doing good. ... She’s been recovering in her room. The doctors said they’re gonna keep her another couple nights just to make sure things stay the same. Nothing but good news though. ... She’s still pretty exhausted and is trying to rest as often as she can."
All good so far! _________________ * * * * * * * * * *

No kidding! I think most hospitals are tightly contolling access and visitation due to this Corona pandemic.
Glad to hear that Natalie is recovering successfully! She is still heavily in our thoughts. |

I'm recovering now from surgery #2, so about 1/3 of the way through all the surgery/reconstruction. I'm only just now getting back into doing important things, like checking the forum. I'm still dealing with some major brain fog - that's why I have no avatar... I accidentally deleted it and can't figure out how to get it back... oh well...
I just wanted to say thank you so much for the kind wishes and good thoughts! And to everyone that has reached out with a card or a gift or a donation, you have no idea how much you are appreciated. So, you know all that mushy stuff people who say mushy stuff say that I would say if I were the kind of person that said mushy stuff at times like this? Well, yeah, that.
