VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

I'm sure everyone's experience during the past year has been different and often challenging. Some of us have had regular work that continued despite the lockdown. Others have counted on agents, semi-regular clients, and auditions to get us by, and that's been a challenge as many of our sources went AWOL or have been hibernating.

Without giving more information than you want to, how have you done over the past year and what are you planning on doing to get things back up to the speed you like?

being solidly entrenched in medical/pharmaceutical for 11 years, the 'rona has been very, very good to me. '20 was slow Q2, but went beyond average for Q3 & Q4 ... '21 has been gangbusters.

i don't want that to sound "braggy" - that's not the intent --- but there are pockets that have not only not gotten worse, but gotten better.

I have 4 legs on my chair.

2 Use me almost every day.
1 is an agent who finds me stuff to do a few times per month
1 TV company for whom I do TV promos

Other things arrive unexpectedly. Yesterday a young man who makes things for DJs sent me a job and paid in advance. $7. Lovely; that will feed me and Bess for a day.

From the above comes my business stability.

Round figures
March 2020 $10,000
March 2021 $25,000

It's just me and Bess. If everything falls apart we can live in a tent, eat sausages and drink water.

I made a decision a few weeks ago to work to live NOT live to work.
