				| i spent the weekend at "the farm" cutting & splitting firewood and upgrading the bunkhouse kitchen floor with ceramic tile.
"the farm" is a place with no interwebs & very, very little cell signal. because of this one of the guys helping me brought with him something called a "cellular signal repeater". "this", he said, "will increase the "Gs" zooming around in the air to a degree that we can get a better phone signal here at "the farm."

"get out! get out right now & take your witchcraft with you!", says me.

my knees hurt. my back is sore. i am refreshed.

Did you split them by hand or did you use a machine?

Swinging an ax is good exercise, especially if it’s a Fiskars (Finnish) ax

				| Splitting wood is one the *the* most satisfying chores on the planet.
I love hearing about these farm days.

this one is older than me and doesn't have any, what one might call ... safety features, but it is brutal on a log.

 Backwoods.
Spotty communication with the outside world.
An axe being swung through the air.

Do you know how many horror movies start like this?
All it needs is a group of horny teenagers camping nearby.
