What’s a fair per page rate for radio imaging work? |

I was in a time sensitive situation with this question so I blasted it out to here and to a radio imaging friend of mine.
Here's what he said:
Quote: | depends on market size and how long it's gonna run.
Most medium to small markets pay $300 a month retainer. Usually that's two pages a month.
If it's a one time buyout that runs forever I'd wanna charge $2000.

When I told him they were looking to do a per page deal, he said...
Quote: | What they're paying for is the use of your voice. If you get paid once and they use it forever, not fair to you.
You want regular but low monthly payments, like a subscription, or charge a LOT with the understanding it's a one time buyout. |
In case anyone was curious. _________________ www.moosevoice.com |

My minimum is $100 per page, with a monthly guarantee of $300, even if less than 3 pages. But I've worked for stations that paid quite a lot more. As well as stations that up my fees with every annual re-negotiation. Each station and situation is different. |
