I've become disgusted with Google and other search engines because, despite my precision in search terms, they seem to be trying so hard to be clairvoyant, by giving me results it believes I want.

Yes, I absolutely need to see a physical therapist, and I have been waiting nearly two weeks for the one nearest to me to return my call to make an appointment (perhaps their website contact form isn't working). So, if there is one or more among us qualified to answer, I'd sure appreciate it. Until I can see the PT, I am trying to learn whether my low back muscle (not spinal) pain is the result of my core muscle group being too loose or too tight. Secondarily, whether I should apply moist heat to the area before exercising it.

This condition exists due to the after-effects of a 1998 "T-bone" car accident in which I sustained a hip injury I was not aware of until many years later, but which in the meantime created or exacerbated a lumbar spine issue that led to decreased mobility, and yada yada yada.

So, if anyone can shed a bit of light, I'd be grateful. Thanks.

Until you can talk to a reliable therapist in person I recommend checking out therapists online. “Bob and Brad” on YouTube seem reasonable and practical. Once you start searching for certain terms on YouTube, say “sciatica”, you’ll start getting other therapy recommendations. It’s up to you to figure out which apply best to your situation.

Thanks, Bruce. Yes, I've looked at many YouTube videos, from Bob & Brad and others, but I can't ask them questions. Wink

Hi Mike, I reached out privately, and I agree: Google's become trash now that every website uses SEO-speak instead of English. The search industry is absolutely ripe for disruption.
