Well, 'tis almost the end of the political season and I've had a little more than my fair share of work in that arena. I helped a local conglomeration of talent, from in front of and behind the camera, put together some viral video ads persuading Arizona voters in a certain direction. They're quite a bit more original and creative than most of the sturm and drang you see on TV these days. I offer them for entertainment value only since most of you aren't in our lovely state:

I wrote the first two and did voice work for all three spots.

Damn, those are very well done and I would have to bet they are (were?) effective. Nice job.
One of my old clients (now deceased) , used to write unconventional political ads for local and state candidates, and we used to have a blast producing them. Those brought back some fond memories. |

Really great work Bruce! I especially like the one with the kids. There is one kid that is praying for "no more unfunded federal mandates"! Man you've got some smart kids in your state!! _________________ Joe Rodriguez, Bilingual Voice Actor | The Voiceover Thespian Blog |

Great work, indeed, Bruce. I don't imagine political spots get much more fun to do than those. |

I love SmartAZvoters.
Very SmartAzz.

Incidentally-- this counts as "work performed" not as "politics on the board".

Why buy the cow when you can have the milk for free? Somehow, somewhere there must be a politico working that into an ad.
I'm in Arizona RIGHT NOW and can attest to a plethora of political ads, one after another, but I haven't heard Bruce on the telly yet. Maybe I don't recognize his "political" read.
Bruce--Those spots are frickin' hilarious. What fun! _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

Bruce,
Indeed a very creative endeavor! I, too, loved 'smartazvoters'.
Too bad, though, that since I'm an Arizonan, I never got to see these before now.
Kudos! |
