I just dragged out my box of old electronics to take to the e-waste site close to me and it made me think of all the discussions about ISDN and being on the cutting edge back nearly 20 years ago. Ah, those were the days! So here's to all the new days ahead of us.

Yes, there was a strange, empty feeling in my gut when I turned over what used to be over $10,000 in audio equipment to a recycler, including an ISDN unit I paid $3,500 for. Sniff.

The nerd in me has wanted to find a few of those with old school analog VU meters and extract them for use in other things.
