DB,
Yeah, I used one for a little over a year. Great little box and alot of guys and gals use it. I'd probably still have it but I got a good deal on my M5. Definitely see if they'll let ya try it out or that you can return it if ya don't like it.

Is there something in your chain that you want to fix or change? |

Me?
I'm just up for trying better quality stuff. I'm trying out some nifty mics-- it might be more than worth my while to test drive some nifty pre's.
I'm just using my Mackie Mixer for the most part. I've also got the Symetrix and the Focusrites in the Mbox, but it seems worthwhile to help the mics out a bit more than thast. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

Before I do something crazy, can someone give me the quick differences in the Focusrite Platinum series, like the Voicemaster Pro; and the ISA series, like the 220. _________________ Wild Willie Edwards

Jowillie,
There really is no comparison between the ISA 220 and the Voicemaster Pro. The ISA is a couple steps up in there line compared to the Voicemaster Pro. Not that the Voicemaster Pro is bad, just that the ISA is a step or two up. |

Quote: | At any rate .... not that you asked about it, the 220 is definitely a nice unit but all the "extras" it offers will definitely introduce noise you do not want into your signal chain. |
Well, I may not have asked SPECIFICALLY about it like this, but
this is exactly what I needed to know.
'nuff said.
It sure looked too bell-and-whistle-y to me. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |
