You know when you're not doing what you need to do in order to be successful, you avoid those things/people/bulletin boards which remind you that you're supposed to be doing something else?

Yup, that's been me for the last year or two (or three, or four, or...)

I took the plunge and invested in some new equipment to make me sound professionaler and started to learn how to use it.

I picked up my first audiobook yesterday; a small one on ACX, but it's good to know that my voice was the one they wanted to hear.

So, I'm back.

Hold my feet to the fire, please, and thank you.

Karl, you are not alone! Many of us have been thrown for a loop and just holding on to our mics for a bit now. I did the bad thing and, since Covid, let one client become my primary source. I knew better but had to do what needed doing at the time. I'm recovering now (snicker) and not going to have that happen again. Congrats on the audio book. One word at a time!
