Hey Gang. Just did a new demo. BenWils, a fellow VO-BB'er was my producer. He did a bang-up job. Take a listen. Your thoughts are welcome as always. Thanks!

I am no expert on demos, but WOW! I thought that was fantastic!

Nice work and great sound, kept me listening until the very end. Could do with some sort of ID though... suppose this piece of audio wanders around... it would be hard to tell who was the talent. Rolls Eyes

Great voice and great production! Every clip complimented each other. The first commercial... Great lead in (It's coming). And the final clip (It never ends) like poetry. The entire demo was beautifully excecuted.
Bravo.

As an old quibbler from way back, I don't have much to quibble about...so I won't. It's a keeper, GM!

Thank you Joe, Edo, Bailey, Bruce, Tom and Bob for your very nice comments on my production of Glenn's demo. Glenn was a pleasure to work with and he has a great voice and a lot of talent.

Bob Souer assisted me with some advice on the line-up of clips via email. Both Bob and Glenn are great and talented guys for sure.

Thanks again everyone!

Glenn-- you have a GREAT delivery, and wonderful engaging style. Just stunning.
Ben-- your production is grand in its technique.

Guys-- I really have to question the taste of putting a car wreck right after a car sale spot. You might think it's "cute" but it's actually alarming.

also--The Samsung TV adds a new dimension to shaving?

The threaded "leads into the next" notion of the text involved is OK, but not flatteningly funny. and having something frivolous come OUT of the car wreck is not funny at all to me.

I don't want to rain on your parade, but I must let you know of the different ears that will hear this otherwise excellent demo.

Hmmmm......don't think we were trying to be "cute" on this one. I wrote the spots and produced the demo for Glenn...so I guess I am the insensitive jerk with poor taste you are referring to. Sorry to offend you. My intentions were not morbid with the spot (an accident with no death involved portrayed) but I have not been in a serious accident myself or lost anyone to an accident and I can see why someone would be alarmed as you say. Point taken. It's just not cool to me to be painted as someone making fun of tragic car accidents. It was merly a spot that had a bit of acting that was not intentionally writen to go after the other car spot. It just happened.

I do however think there are much more alarming things out there in this world than this demo???

I will take a breath and go under for now.

Sure there are-- but you asked for opinions, yes?

Nobody is painting anyone-- this isn't an ad hominem attack. I simply want you to know what I heard, and what others might/will hear:
"I never thought I'd be in an accident like that... UNTIL you sit in front of a 52-inch Samsung DLP Widescreen!"

Be aware. You are completely responsible for the flow of the text.
You don't want your excellent work thrown out because of what you say is an innocent artistic decision.
