Can anybody point me towards one or two?
I'm finishing up my recording area this dead-bird weekend, and would like to lay down some practice tracks for my demo. |

An audiobook practice script is a book!
Pick up a book that has conversation and narration in it and work on the differentiations of those sounds. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I have a bad link on my website (I'll fix it next week when I get back) that leads to a great article about what one audio book producer expects to hear on a demo. I just did this section in my voiceover class, so I remember the basics.
Pick a novel written in the 3rd person. They want to hear your natural voice. There should be a few pieces of dialogue with distinct characters (people). Do not do accents unless you sound like a native. And probably the best advice - pick something that you will do well. They are not interested in your willingness to accept a challenge. _________________ Playing for a living...
