I follow the links to hear your humorous audio files, and all I see is a blank page. Other hyperlinks are ok; it's just audio files.
This started after the latest Windows Media Player update. So I went in & unchecked every type of file so as not to have WMP as the default. Didn't do any good. I'm sure it's something so simple to fix. What next? _________________ Mary |

You most likely have to do a file association so that media player knows to open and play downloaded mp3 files.

Can't open anyone's files...just now tried Banksey's & Ragnog's. Seems like Quicktime used to open when I followed most links here. Does that help any? I just checked & Quicktime is the default for playing mp3's...so what's the problem?
Sorry for the confusion, everyone. I was actually trying to say that for the last few days I haven't been able to open any of the links to mp3's that anyone on the board has posted. _________________ Mary |

What happens when you try to open an mp3 file located on your local drive? In Windows Explorer, when you see an mp3 file, is there an icon indicating that the mp3 file is associated with a different player? And how many audio players do you have on the machine? There may still be a conflict between other players. |

Mp3's play fine off the local drive. I switched back associating mp3's from Quicktime to Windows Media Player just now. Now I can open Banksey's link. But not Ragnog's.
I also have Real Player. All three players have been here forever & I've never had a problem before now. FWIW, I'm using IE 7. _________________ Mary |
