Hello Everyone,

I need your help... I am working with a group of students from the "Freie Universitaet Berlin", Germany. They have created a Web 2.0 communication portal that turns communication between government and citizens on its head. It is a portal that creates open and public discourse between citizens and government They have been hugely successful with their sites in Germany (www.direktzurkanzlerin.de) , Austria, Norway. We are putting the finishing touches on three US sites. This is going to be huge!

I need media contacts to whom I can send press releases once we are ready to launch.

This is a grand idea, Bernard! Getting email to one's elected officials has sometimes been a series of burning hoops to jump through, and if you can reach an assistant on the phone it's a miracle.

Thank you for your comment. I agree. The idea is to write a letter expressing your concern, question, issue etc. allowing others to see it, read it, vote on it (1 thru 5 stars) and then the highest voted inquiries will be presented for response. In Germany all the big media outlets jumped on it and it took only 3 weeks until the chancellor's office felt the pressure to answer. Since then the office of the chancellor has been responding to the Top issues within 4 days - regularly!!
