I just oredered one of those QM-50s Frank. It's supposed to arrive by tomorrow. Bill Elder uses them and says they're great. I'll let you know after I get mine.

I am waiting for my new desk to arrive before I can use it, but it is really put together well. And you can't beat Marty's customer service. A great little investment.

mine was on the doorstep waiting for me when I got home this afternoon. It's set up and ready to go. SWEET! It's just what I needed and very stable and secure. Stays where you put it. It's got lock nuts at the joints but even so, if you don't tighten them all the way, you can move it up...down....out...in...and it stays right where you leave it. Excellent! And Marty is a great guy. 5 stars for customer service. Comes with a sturdy metal C-clamp....or you can bolt it to a surface with the metal base it comes with. It even includes the screws incase you choose to do that. It comes with 16 foot low impedence xlr mic cable already threaded through the structure tubing and a separate mic clip and a riser. $39.95 and standard ground UPS shipping is $16.00. So.... $56.00 including shipping.
