Thx

What's the price range you're interested in?

Audio Technica and Plantronics are usually good bets at pretty much any price range, but once you hit $100 and up, the quality really differs between manufacturers.

Well, I am used to my Sony 7506 ($100) for audio quality. So, anything that can be comparable would be fine with me.

at that price range, I'd check out either A/T or the Sennheiser headphone mics.

I am an avid online gamer and I use the Plantronics HS-1 headset. I love it. The microphone is very clear in the games and it includes an inline volume control and microphone mute switch.
I don't believe they make that same model anymore, but any of their better models should work fine. I use the RF cordless headset from them at work and love that too.

Look for me in BF2 as "TeknoFurious".

Not sure about requirements for gaming. But check out this review:

He talks about the various headsets including gaming.
