Just came across this article on how to "Turn your Mac mini into a low-cost recording studio" and I was wondering if anyone here is using this kind of studio setup?

I use a Mac mini for laying down dry voice tracks as my G4 tower is just too noisy for that. I use the Apogee Mini-me as the pre-amp and interface. Once recorded, I transfer the files to the tower via LAN for tweaking. Works a treat and is quiet, though I still keep it in a drawer to bring noise levels down to just about zero.
