Email with script as attachment - Do this job please
Reply - No problem, let me have the approved script and I'll get on to it.
Client responds - This is the final script ,
Would you be able to have done for this evening…
My reply - You really want me to say "Tradelinks 2006 facilitated over 1000 business to business meetings over the two days. This has resulted in sales being generated ‘on the day’ in excess of ??? euros (Kieran please update) with further potential sales and joint ventures anticipated in the coming weeks and months. "........that's what the script says? |

Hey, an automatic double session, as you'll have to bill them for the "revisions", as well! |

He said it was approved. You're job is just to say the words in the electric microphone for the nice man. If he needs to pay you for revisions, next time he'll think twice before cavalierly bandying about an important term like 'approved'.

I was in a session recently with copy that was stamped "FINAL APPROVED SCRIPT". The session started late because... we were waiting for the client to approve the script! |
